The Gentle Grasp called Grace
by Grace {illustrated}
I am so excited!
I “grasped” the way to participate in last week’s 5 minute Friday
without interfering with my “21 days to Grace { A Commitment} commitment!
Thank you, Lisa Jo, and community for the joy that I find in this practice.
I love spending time with all of you!!
Okay.
Ready.
Set.
Go.
GRASP
!!!!
Thank you, O’ Holy One,
for
this
increasing
awareness
of
Grace
that
has
grasped
my
soul.
I am so very thankful,
for
this
Divine Hold
{Grasp}
that
Your
Powerful
Presence
has
in
my
life.
This
gentle
{ Grasp }
that
that is everpresent
within me,
is not a strong hold,
but a comforting support
that I abide within.
love
grasping the
beauty,
the love,
the wisdom,
the joy
that you are.
That Grace is.
“Time’s Up”

Today’s word?
WIDE
Let’s see what these next 5 uninterrupted, unedited, minutes bring to mind & to the page…
here we go!
*****
When I am in the state of Grace
I am wide open
to
receive
all
that
God
desires to impart through me.
When I am in the state of Grace
I
am
wide
open
to
the
magnificent
revelations
of
my
soul.
When
I am wide open int Grace
I
am
wide open to receiving
the
Divine Givingness
of
God
that
includes
the
Omnipotence of God.
Omnipresence of God.
Omniscience of God.
When I am in the state of Grace
and
wide
open
I am embracing life
as God intended.
When I am in the state of Grace
{Wide Open}
I
have let go
of
all
limitations
&
allowed
the
expression
the
unique expression
of
God
to
open
widely
through
me.
I am wide open.
May we be in that state of grace and open to the Lord and His work in and through us.
Thank you for visiting, Susan, and for taking the time to affirm this truth!
Fantastic post.
Thank you, Miss Denise, for this. I love having you stop by!
I like the contrast of writing about wide open while the lines are slim and narrow. It reminds me that His grace is wide open yet all things flow only through Him, the narrow way. Thanks for sharing and for stopping by my place.
Thank you, Alia Joy, for this beautiful correlation of thought. Such a wonderful reminder of how God works in harmony through each One of us for the greater good! Look what I would have missed out upon if I had not stopped by your place!
I am also grateful for the comment regarding the sketches. I am working with a very talented young artist named Anca Sandu. We have been working on a book project for over a year {because I have been over-thinking for over a year} not allowing the narrow path to take me to higher places. This blog: now this visual you have given me, makes that path seem clearer. Thanks, again.
Oh, and did you do the illustrations on this blog? I’m assuming so. They’re really lovely.
